Born in 1973 in Nantes, France, Eric studied in France, Germany and the UK where he completed a Masters at the Bartlett, UCL, London.

He then developed his professional experience at the award winning companies of Conran & Partners, the design company of Sir Terence Conran and Reed Architecture, which he left to create sens in 2002.
To stay at the forefront of professional excellence, Eric has chaired the Small Practice Committee at the RIBA since January 2008 where he organises Guerilla tactics, the Small Practice Conference, the largest RIBA event.

Eric engages with the most advanced developments in design processes and technology.
He took part in the RSA Summer School 2004, a weekend of workshop for a multidisciplinary group of 30 selected young designers aiming at the advance of new design practices. Following this, he organized further workshops with the support of the RSA and the Design Council.
He follows the latest thinking in the opportunities created by the developments in information technology. For example, he led the design team of Teamwork 2001, a 5 days exercise in new design processes using single model CAD softwares.

He has taught and attends crits at various Universities in the UK as well as sitting on the jury of competitions.
